The Final Countdown

Bubba took the boys to Follifoot for the finale of the Addison cup with Knaresborough as the opponents and it was a tough ask taking on the Division one league leaders. Batting first Knaresborough posted a healthy one seventy two from their twenty overs and Bubba looked to Winton the show pony for some inspiration, a steady start from Blubbs took a massive blow when Winton played across the line and skied up an easy catch. Knaresboroughs score always looked beyond Blubberhouses after a top order collapse and eventually the under dogs were skittled for just over sixty.

"It was always gonna be tough playing against twelve men" said Wainy after watching Nick Cotton run out Angry and Bubba within the space of three overs, Cotton was un-available for comment.
