Rainton Away

Rainton was the challenge this week as the season edged towards the three quarters mark, Angry had honed up on his Fencing skills (fence jumping that is) and was looking forward to another duel with King Rainton and to finding last year's match ball which disappeared under the shack like pavilion. Sadly it wasn't to be as the rains fell and at quarter to eleven Sherman got the call and the game was off and with only one game played in the second division the table stayed stagnated for this week.

Laves being the only person to catch anything this week (his flight home) picked up both fielding points but left Sherman with more selection dilemmas for his squad, players also missing for the Ashes test match, it looks like being a tricky week, stay tuned.

Fact of the day: Gin is supposedly known as "A mothers ruin", this week it was "the captain and opening bowlers ruin" and it's probably not a bad thing the game was called off.
