Week five of the season and what a week it had been for Sherman, new recruits Dale Winton and Laves were all fired up and ready for what looked like being a tough game for Blubbs on a very damp and overcast day.
Sherman managed to win an important toss and stuck the visitors in but rain delayed the start and a 3 o'clock inspection was suggested by the men in white coats. More showers and dark clouds didn't help the cause as Winton did his best to push the water off the square, even the steam from the o-meter wasn't enough to dry up the rain and at three o'clock it was all over, the all-stars would have to wait another week to don the Blubbs colours and try get the season back on track.
Points Awarded Blubberhouses:2, Rainton:2
Fielding Points: None
Fact of the day: Today was a record low for the Angry-o-meter, I'm sure it was a rare occasion and I'm sure next week it will be higher.
