Knaresborough was the destination for Marios men as week five of the evening league got underway. Plattsey winning the toss decided it might be an idea for the ten man squad to bat first on the first evening fit for cricket.

Blubbs managed to posted a reasonable 127-5 from their 20 overs with Winton(57no) un-selfishly running out and knocking out Bubba and soon after giving Mario (Diamond Duck) the same treatment as the first half ended.

In reply Knaresborough passed the winning post with 2.2 overs to spare losing only 3 wickets (Vassey 2-34) and the Hoff (1-28) leaving the Evening League capitano with his first taste of defeat in the 2011 season.

Bubba when questioned about the 20 runs let through his legs commented "I wasn't sure which of the four balls coming at me to stop!". Winton who kept wicket for the game missed a sitter of a stumping earlly in the Knaresborough innings added "I'm number one in this club, why do you think I'd help Sherman to take wickets, there's no 'I' in team but there's a 'ME'.
